THE BRIEF
–
Make Up For Ever launches its employer brand and calls it The Collective. No models: the faces in the film are the people of the house, make-up artists, trainers, studio teams, gathered for the length of a shoot. The promise fits in one line, “whoever you are, we are your team”. What remained was to turn it into a film, then to break that film down into twenty-three versions for social and recruitment.
OUR PLAYGROUND
–
First Frame picked up the rushes as they left the studio and built the whole of the post-production. An edit that keeps the backstage inside the frame, the light stands, the coming and going, the laughter between two poses, because that is where the team actually exists. Grading, motion design graphics, music selection and mix. Then the twenty-three deliverables: one main film, four forty-five-second cuts, eighteen thirty-second ones, and the long film in both 16:9 and 4:5.
