ORIGINAL DOCUMENTARIES AND SERIES
Originals is the part of First Frame that develops and produces its own stories: single documentaries, documentary series and fiction projects, for television channels and streaming platforms. Our vision fits in one sentence: to tell the story of our time without filters, giving shape to the narratives that run through it, with depth and a visual style rooted in today's storytelling codes. We produce for France Télévisions, Canal+ and Crunchyroll, and our films have been selected at festivals, including Montréal Séries.

THE STORIES WE TELL
We are drawn to cultural dynamics, to social and technological change, and to the figures who embody the tensions or the hopes of their generation. Sport, pop culture, animation, digital creation: the general public knows these subjects, but their inner workings are rarely told. Our films start from real life, take a point of view and look for the balance between emotional closeness and perspective, between accessibility and narrative ambition.

FROM DEVELOPMENT TO DELIVERY
Every project is born from a desire to tell, to decode and to pass something on. We support it at every stage: writing, the pitch deck and the pitch, financing, then the shoot, post-production and delivery to the broadcaster. As with our brand films, editing, color grading, titles and original music are done in Paris, by the team that has carried the film from the start. This continuity guarantees something rare: the film that goes on air looks like the one we promised the broadcaster.

RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION
First Frame is one of the first twelve French production companies to receive the Ecoprod Pioneer label. We work to reduce our environmental impact at every stage, from development to release, because we believe that making ambitious films while respecting the planet is not only possible, but essential.
