First Frame is a Paris-based production company for commercials and brand content. We work with creative agencies who trust us with their ideas, and with brands looking for a single partner, from the first spark of an idea all the way to release.

MAKERS, NOT JUST PRODUCERS
Before we were producers, we were creatives and technicians. We come from directing, from music and from the set. That background shapes the way we produce: when we read a script, we already know how it will be shot, what it will need in post-production, and where the real budget stakes lie.

That is why we keep the craft under one roof. Editing, color grading, 2D and 3D motion design, titles, original music and sound mixing all stay in Paris, with the team that has carried the film from the start. The film never changes hands between stages, and nobody loses sight of the original intent.

UNCOMPROMISING CRAFT, A BUDGET UNDER CONTROL
We love work done well, and we bring the same standards to a 30-second spot as to a long-form film. But craft only matters when it serves the project. Because we know the real cost of every stage, we know where to invest so it shows on screen, and where to simplify without anyone noticing. Every creative proposal comes with a detailed, line-by-line quote.

WHAT WE PRODUCE
Commercials for TV and digital, brand films, 360 campaigns, social media content and digital series. Since 2017, we have produced films for Netflix, Renault, Maybelline, Marionnaud, Harley-Davidson, Deezer, YouTube, Qonto, Vinted and Dacia, among others.

Depending on the project, we act as the lead production company, from concept to delivery, or as executive producers alongside an agency. We work with a roster of emerging directors with diverse sensibilities, and with a trusted network of talents and partners. We shoot in Paris, across France and abroad: on location, local producers build the crew, while the creative direction, the look and the post-production stay in Paris.

RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION
First Frame is one of the first twelve French production companies to receive the Ecoprod Pioneer label. On every project, we suggest concrete choices to reduce the footprint of the shoot: logistics, energy, transport and suppliers.
