Open Derrière le masque, a portrait of freestyle skier Tess Ledeux. A title that promises what lies behind the equipment, so a title sequence that had to keep her face hidden.

OUR PLAYGROUND

Forty seconds of snow and night. We follow her hooded, masked, unrecognisable: among frosted trees, on a floodlit snowpark, in silhouette against the moon, in deep powder. The horizon flips, the forest turns over. Credits run in yellow.

The title only lands at the end, cutting across the frame and stretched by the motion, at the exact moment we still have not seen her face.
