THE BRIEF
–
BASF wants to show that chemistry has faces. Change Makers seeks out the people moving the industry from the inside, and the French episode is the portrait of a young researcher: her childhood photographs, her braids, then the lab coat and the test tube. A minute and twenty seconds to connect a personal path to a brand line, “The climate is changing. So are we.”
OUR PLAYGROUND
–
First Frame took on the executive production of the episode in France, to make the delegate production company’s job as smooth as possible. The UK producer came over with his DOP: everything else was built here. Crewing, camera and lighting rental, location scouting and shooting permits, on-set logistics across two cities, Paris and Lyon, drone work, stills photography, on-set translation, and an additional shooting day organised along the way. A foreign production lands, shoots on schedule and leaves with its footage: the rest is our business.
