THE BRIEF

Three times, Karmine Corp has to announce a team. The Valorant roster, the League of Legends roster, and the club’s women’s roster. Facing a community that watches everything and forgives little, an announcement card is not enough: each reveal has to be a film, with a world of its own, and none of the three can look like the other two.
OUR PLAYGROUND

First Frame produced all three, from the shoot through to delivery, with three art directions that share nothing. A game of chess played in near darkness, where every player is a piece, all the way to “Checkmate”. A medieval tale lit by candlelight, illuminated manuscript and period costumes, where the coach recounts the legends of the Karmine. A studio left in the dark that five players switch back on, station by station, up to the glitch and the blue screen. Sets, costumes, camera and sound crew on the floor, then full post-production: editing, motion design, visual effects, sound design, colour grading, name graphics, subtitled versions and partner integrations.
