THE BRIEF

Intercloud connects companies to their clouds without going through the public internet. The service is invisible by nature: nobody ever sees a network. What was needed was a film that made that route visible, then moved straight into the customer portal itself, where connections are ordered and monitored. One film for two registers: explaining an infrastructure, and demonstrating a product.
OUR PLAYGROUND

First Frame set the art direction, drew the boards and prepared every element before animating. The first half is illustrated: a user, their applications, and the loop of private connections closing around them, cloud after cloud, through to high availability and orchestration. The second half switches to the real interface, the map of points of presence, the list of connectors, the bandwidth curves, animated so it reads without commentary. Voice-over recorded in studio, music and sound design hold the whole thing together.
